AND WE'RE BACK

With the latest relaxation in COVID-19 rules for the Melbourne area, we’re essentially back at full capacity. Allowing for a bit of extra paperwork and sanitising, of course!

We’ve already caught up our real estate backlog, and are moving into doing all those installation jobs we previously couldn’t.

Thanks for your support through these difficult times, and we look forward to working with you as things head towards normality.

REOPENING - STEP TWO

At this stage our in-factory manufacturing operations are, for practical purposes, unrestricted.

Work outside is more limited. We’re allowed to operate at construction sites.

Outside real estate work is also, we believe, still restricted to emergency work. The new government guidelines on marketing seem to open up loopholes, but discussions with the Business Victoria helpline have not seen us given a go-ahead and the advice from the Real Estate Institute of Victoria is a flat “no”. We’re still hoping that there may be some clarification going forward that does give us the ability to do real estate boards, but for now we’re planning on a return to real estate at the Step Three reopening.

Assuming everything works out as we all hope, we should be back to something like full operation on the 19th of October.

LOCKDOWN

Living and working in the Melbourne Metropolitan area, we’re currently restricted by Stage 4 COVID-19 restrictions. This limits what we can do in our factory and where we’re allowed to work, but we’re not closed!

  • We can make signs in support of industries still able to operate, so if you need safety signs or suchlike we can still help.

  • We can still operate as printers for work of that type. So coreflute signs and stickers are still possible. Business cards, flyers and brochures can also be done.

  • We can still organise and create artwork from home. Now is the time to plan for what your customers need to know when restrictions are lifted.

  • We can react to emergencies. If something is unsafe, we can deal with it.

  • What we generally can’t do is work on site. Most installs are not allowed, and routine real estate board installations and removals aren’t possible. If you wish to book board removals ahead of time, that’s fine. We’ll add the job to the list and as soon as restrictions are eased we’ll get things done ASAP.

  • We can operate on someone else’s permitted construction site, subject to COVID-19 site safety rules.

We are running on reduced business hours, from 8am - 4pm, and a COVID-19 plan is in place to control access to the factory.
